TWO ABLETON PROJECT FILES + SERUM PRESETS
This package contains the Ableton project files for the flips I did of Space Laces - Phone Tap and G Jones & Eprom - R.A.V.E., as well as 40 presets for Serum.
The purpose of the project files is mostly for you to explore and hopefully gain insight as to how I made them. I've frozen every channel containing a 3rd party plugin, so if you own these plugins, you can unfreeze the channels and take a look at the Serum patches, as well as the settings in the fx plugins I used. Both of the flips contain techniques that I use in my original songs.
The presets are all sounds I've made in the last few months, some of them also making appearances in my (unreleased) music. The presets are there for you to use as they are, or process them, or completely change them, as they could serve as a good starting point for sound design.
IMPORTANT NOTES
MISSING REVERB
If you don't have D16 Toraverb, try going into send channel A, and replacing the Toraverb plugin with a reverb plugin to your liking. I generally like to use reverbs with a long tail and not too much high end for it to feel large.
PRESET PROCESSING
I often like putting OTT and Kilohearts Disperser on top of these presets for some extra grit. If you don't have Disperser, the stock Ableton vocoder set to "modulator" with enhance turned on, and the range set to 20.0 hz - 18.0 kHz, can give you similar results.
